A Little Princess...

Puppy Update

Sadly, the two black males have passed away within the past two weeks. They were both very weak and we think they were sick. The second one stoped nursing altogether so we started to feed him a formula with a dropper and after two long days and nights of feeding ever hour (nights included, we 2 older girls and mom took shifts) he passed away. We are very sad to have these sweet puppies pass away but are thankful for the little girl who is still with us. She is doing great and has doubled (if not then more!) her size and weight.

The other day we chose names for the puppies:
The girls name is Maddy Rose and we named the first boy (the one with the white diamond) Popie and the other one Matthew (from Adventures in Odyssey).

Puppies!!!!!

Our puppies are here! We are all so excited to announce that three puppies were born-one girl and two boys. The girl is a reddish brown like her mama and the boys are black like their daddy. Kiely and Baby are outside dogs, but once we realized that Kiely was pregnant we washed her up real good and brought her inside. She was content as first to be inside but a day or two ago she got a bit antsy and wanted outside. after that we didn't see her much and we started to worry that something went wrong. This morning Ashley said that when Kiely did come back after mysteriously disappearing that her tummy was not near as large a it had been. When she was disappearing we realized that she went to our neighbors shed on the other side of the fence. We realized that she had had her puppies under that shed and we went to go and bring the puppies and Kiely home. So here they are safe and sound! We don't have any names yet but wanted to see what your thoughts are! What are some good name ideas for 1 girl and 2 boys? Some of the Wards suggested naming them Odyssey names (in honor of their love for Adventures in Odyssey) and one person suggested food names such as pretzel and peanut. What is your opinion?

Guess Who's Going to Have Some Puppies???

Yes it's true...Kiely is pregnant! We had been wondering if she would get pregnant since we knew she has had a litter or two earlier (before we got them, when they were with there previous owners). Today we realized that her belly was getting a bit plumper than it had been so we are happy to announce that we will soon have a litter of puppies! We are all SO excited and can't wait for the arrival of the puppies! :D Everyone claims that they will be the cutest puppies ever..and I agree since their mama is VERY cute! :D If we charted it right then she should have them within a few weeks and for sure before the end of the month! We will keep you all updates with news and of course take many pictures of the new puppies once they arrive!
